The role

As an RF Design Engineer, you will carry out RF design activities to ensure the technical and functional feasibility of our products. Working within a multidisciplinary team, your objective will be to meet the technical performance, cost, quality and timing goals set by project management.

Key responsabilities

  • Lead the RF design  of RF front ends, including Power Amplifiers, LNAs, filters, mixers, combiners, etc., from MHz to mmW applications 

  • Execute necessary RF design simulations using EM software (e.g., HFSS, Feko) and EDA simulation tools (e.g., ADS, MWO).

  • Perform design adjustments and prototype verification in the RF laboratory during each hardware (HW) loop, utilizing Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, and antenna radiation pattern measurements in anechoic chambers.

  • Optimize the RF designs to maximize power transfer, noise figures, and minimize return loss.

  • Lead the PCB layout of RF circuits, ensuring proper isolation, grounding, and signal integrity for high-frequency traces.

  • Perform functional validation to ensure the performance and reliability of development prototypes prior to customer delivery.

  • Effectively manage product modifications throughout the development cycle considering cost reduction ideas. 

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams during product industrialization.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field with a focus on RF/Microwave engineering.

  • Experience on RF front ends, including Power Amplifiers, LNAs, filters, mixers, combiners, etc.

  • EDA software (e.g., AWR, ADS) and EM simulation tools (e.g., FEKO, HFSS) knowledge

  • English advanced level

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Experience in Antennas design is valued

  • Wireless communication technology knowledge (GSM/GPRS/3G/LTE/5G/BT/WIFI/Broadcasting/etc...) is valued

  • Prior experience in RF design for Aerospace or Defense applications (e.g., satellite communications, radar, or military standards) is highly valued.

  • Availability to travel occasionally for project collaboration is valued.
