The role
We are seeking a talented and proactive Mechanical Product Design Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between concept and reality, ensuring the technical feasibility of our products from the initial offer through the entire development stage. Your main objective will be to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and optimized products that meet project timelines and performance goals.

Key responsabilities

  • Design Excellence: Own the 3D & 2D CAD design development process and conduct design reviews under the guidance of our Lead/Master Designers.

  • Prototype Management: Manage the development and timely delivery of prototypes aligned with customer milestones.

  • Risk Analysis: Actively participate in product and process Mechanical FMEAs (DFMEA/PFMEA).

  • Testing & Validation: Analyze product technical test reports and collaborate with Quality Design Engineers to develop and implement effective technical countermeasures.

  • Industrialization: Partner closely with manufacturing teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to product industrialization (DFM/DFA).

  • Change Management: Effectively manage design modifications and engineering changes during the development phase.

    Continuous Improvement: Drive product competitiveness by optimizing cost, quality, and performance through innovative technical solutions.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Cooperate with internal engineering departments and external suppliers to optimize product design for manufacturing, cost, and quality.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.

  • Solid experience in mechanical design for products incorporating electronic components.

  • Proficiency in 3D/2D CAD software Catia V5.

  • English advanced level

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar mechanical product design role.
