We are looking for a senior High Speed Designer with at least 4 years of experience and with creditable experience with fast digital design at schematic, simulation, layout and testing. You will carry out all the hardware design activities for the automotive sectors. You will be assigned on different projects according to customer requirements and timing, and following the internal defined procedures.
Some of your main tasks will be:
Capture part of schematic related to fast signal, simulations and testing.
Understand the requirements of our customer and following our System Architecture, give direct technical feedbacks to perform schematic and product performance.
Support to PCB layout group, to finalise a good Hardware PCB layout quality, according to good hardware practices design (power supply path, decoupling capacitors, ESD, EMC, S/N, crosstalk in signal lines…).
Handle HW / SW integration.
Define integration test plan and design of break box to perform different test (unitary, integration, safety....)
Power up and validate, all the hardware design blocks. Identification and fixing of HW issues found on validation or by external parties in the assigned HW system parts.
Familiar in collaborating with contract manufacturers.
Skilled in computer system architecture, schematic design, digital and analog circuits, power and voltage regulator integration, high speed design and signal integrity concepts, board design, board bring up and system level debugging.
Strong Lab and debugging skills for board and system hardware bring up, testing and characterization.
You are a seasoned hardware engineer with at least 4 years of experience.
You are passionate about the automotive sector.
You have creditable experience with fast digital design at schematic, simulation, layout and testing.
You are fluent in English and Spanish.
You have a deep knowledge in signal integrity simulation Hyperlynx, SI-wave or similar.
You have a deep knowledge in signal integrity, schematic, simulations and testing.
Related to testing we are looking for an engineer with deep practice with RTO with high bandwidth, and also eye diagram experience.
Would be a plus if:
Desired experience in automotive Ethernet Ethernet 100BaseT1, 1000BaseT1 (RGMII...), Debug interfaces USB-(3.0, PD), Display interfaces (LVDS), Camera design GMSL2, FPD LINK.
Would be a plus if you would have previous experience in automotive market and RF design experience.
