We are looking for a Junior Requirements engineer who will analyse our client's requirements, to set up and create a technical roadmap and requirements of a consistent system design that meets the functional specifications of our customers within the boundaries of overall cost and timing.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop the specification of product system requirements.
  • Work together with team members from all departments: Test Engineers, Software Engineers, Hardware Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Requirements Management Engineer, etc.
  • Ensure the completion of the requirements as required by the System Manager and the Requirements Management Engineer in agreement with the interested parties (for example, responsible for software, hardware, mechanics, ...)
  • Define and document the internal and external interfaces of the system
  • Work with the POLARION requirements manager.
  • Clarify the unclear requirements:
    • with the client, if the client's requirements are not clear or in conflict with other requirements 
    • with the other requirements engineers or interested parties, if the derived requirements are not clear or in conflict with other requirements
  • Document the requirements of the product:
    • Set all relevant attributes
    • Update existing requirements, if necessary (for example, update system requirements when the customer's referred requirement changes)
  • Identify if the requirements are functional or non-functional.
  • Resolve defects of requirement.

You are a  Telecommunication or Electronics Engineer with 1 year or more of previous experience in a related position. We look for someone with previous experience in product development and knowledge of requirements tools like POLARION, Subversion (SVN) or Jira. Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills in English.

 

Software and Hardware design, analogical and digital, microcontrollers, logic circuits, power supply, communications, schematics edition, simulation tools, hardware calculations, worst-case analysis, EMC, will be a plus.
