Desing Quality Engineer

Job description

We are looking for engineers interested in quality management to join our Design Quality Department. As part of this team, they will be key actors within the different ongoing engineering projects auditing and coaching the technical teams to ensure legal and methodological quality standards are met. This a transversal role so you will participate in projects from any field on which IDNEO is developing technology and your tasks will include:

  • Act as a customer window for Quality issues during the product development phase.

  • Follow up customer quality issues (lead 8D analysis when required, analyze the cause of no detection of the issue, follow up corrective and preventive actions, etc.).

  • Perform quality reviews during a release/sample cycle and judge the quality of the release/sample.

  • Generate quality reports and metrics.

  • Initiate escalation activities and monitor recovery action plans when needed.

  • Lead process continuous improvement (for General Quality System Processes and for SW/HW/MECH development processes).

  • Perform audits internally and to our providers and give support when audited by third parties.

  • Promote and lead the Lessons Learned process inside the projects.

  • Provide training, coaching, and support to development teams on quality procedures.


You are graduated in engineering, ideally, telecommunications, electronics or computer science, and have worked developing electronic of software products. You are familiar with requirements management tools such as Doors, defect management such as JIRA, version control such as SVN or documentation systems.

In addition, you have experience working as quality assurance or quality manager and know different quality standards (ISO; Spice or similar) and methodologies or you are interested in changing from technical roles to more managerial tasks.
